About Bright Discovery
Bright Discovery was created to answer to the needs of underprivileged neighborhood that does not have access to resources to enhance the lives of the people who live in these communities. As a child I lived in an underprivileged neighborhood where I did not have access to resources that would have made life for me and my family a lot less difficult. I had no one to tell me about college or financial aid. I had no one to tell me that what I was experiencing as a child was depression. I had no one to tell my grandmother that there were programs for young people to help them excel as adults.
Mission
Bright Discovery is a community-centered organization enhancing mental health services and programs for underserved youth and adults. We’re committed to fostering safe spaces, promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion, and building stronger, resource-rich communities for a brighter tomorrow.
